These Content & Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") form part of the Terms of Service of Velvet Night and apply to all users of the App. By using Velvet Night, you agree to follow these Guidelines.
Velvet Night is a platform that offers original romantic audiobooks and stories featuring high sensual tension and mature romantic themes. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for adult listeners.
1. Nature of Our Content
Velvet Night publishes original romantic stories and audiobooks that are:
- Written for adults (18 years and older).
- Focused on emotional connection, romantic tension, and sensual atmosphere.
- Tasteful and non-explicit in nature.
- Free from graphic sexual descriptions, pornography, or illegal content.
The stories may contain mature themes, romantic intimacy, strong emotional situations, and suggestive language. However, they do not include explicit sexual acts, graphic nudity, or pornographic material.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily accessing mature romantic content suitable only for adults.
2. Acceptable Use of the App
You may use Velvet Night only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree to:
- Use the App in a respectful and responsible manner.
- Listen to and enjoy the stories for your personal entertainment.
- Follow all applicable laws while using the App.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of the stories and the App.
- Keep your account secure and not share it with others.
You may not use the App in any way that could harm the platform, other users, or the reputation of Velvet Night.
3. Prohibited Behaviour
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Illegal Activities
- Using the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempting to access content or features you are not authorised to use.
- Violating any local, national, or international law.
Abusive or Harmful Conduct
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or our support team.
- Posting or sending hateful, discriminatory, or offensive messages.
- Engaging in any form of bullying, stalking, or intimidation.
Inappropriate Content
- Uploading, sharing, or attempting to distribute any explicit, pornographic, or illegal material.
- Sharing content that involves minors in any sexual or inappropriate context.
- Promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activities.
Technical Misuse
- Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App.
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools without permission.
- Interfering with advertisements shown to free users.
- Attempting to bypass any security or age-verification features.
Account Misuse
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or features.
- Sharing your account login details with others.
- Allowing anyone under 18 to access the App through your account.
Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without refund.
4. Community Standards (Ratings, Comments & Interactions)
If the App includes features such as ratings, reviews, comments, or any form of user interaction, the following standards apply:
- All interactions must remain respectful and constructive.
- Reviews and comments should relate to the story experience.
- Do not post spam, promotional links, or irrelevant content.
- Do not post personal information of others.
- Do not use offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language.
- Do not attempt to contact other users for inappropriate purposes.
We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these standards without prior notice.
5. Content Reporting and Moderation Policy
We take the safety and quality of the platform seriously.
How to Report
Every listener review carries a “…” menu. Tap it to Report the review, or to Block the listener who wrote it so you never see their reviews again. Blocked accounts are listed under Settings → Blocked Accounts, where you can unblock them at any time.
You can also email us at velvetnightapp@gmail.com. Please include as much detail as possible (story name, username, description of the issue, and screenshots if available).
Our Moderation Process
- Reviews are automatically screened against a prohibited-content filter before they are published.
- Every report is reviewed within 24 hours. Content that violates these Guidelines is removed, and the account responsible is suspended or terminated.
- A reported review is hidden from other listeners while it is being checked.
- Reports involving the sexual exploitation of minors are removed immediately and referred to the relevant authorities.
- Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.
- We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required by law.
We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion to maintain the integrity and safety of the platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All stories, audio recordings, text, and other content available on Velvet Night are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may listen to the content for personal use only. You may not:
- Record, copy, or redistribute any story or audio.
- Upload or share the content on other platforms.
- Use the content for commercial purposes.
7. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Issue a warning.
- Remove specific content or comments.
- Temporarily suspend your account.
- Permanently terminate your account.
- Report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
We are not obligated to provide a refund if your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Guidelines.
8. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Content & Community Guidelines from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
